Laundry pickup in the San Fernando Valley: how it works

Fold Laundry · Updated November 3, 2026 · 3 min read

Short answer: Fold picks up and delivers laundry and dry cleaning in six San Fernando Valley neighborhoods, seven days a week. Pickup and delivery are free, wash & fold is $2.65/lb with a $39.99 order minimum, and you choose a morning or evening pickup window. Here is how it works from the first order to the folded bag at your door.

Where Fold picks up in the Valley

Our Valley routes run along the Ventura Boulevard corridor. These are the neighborhoods and ZIP codes we cover today:

If your ZIP is not on the list, enter your address when you schedule and the checker will confirm coverage for your block.

How a pickup works

Schedule on foldlaundry.com or in the app, pick a pickup window, and leave your laundry in any bag. Your driver texts about 30 minutes before arriving, so you do not need to be home: leave the bag at the door, with the doorman, or at the gate. On your first order we leave a Fold bag for next time. Your card is charged after intake, never when you schedule.

Pickup windows and turnaround

Pickup windows are 7:30–9:30 AM and 6:30–9:30 PM (Sundays: morning only). Wash & fold comes back the next day. Dry cleaning comes back the next evening, except Sundays. Same-day service is available if you need it sooner.

What it costs

Wash & fold is $2.65/lb, pickup and delivery are free, and every order has a $39.99 minimum. Dry cleaning is priced per garment. If you send laundry every week, the Fold Club on the Wash & Fold or All-in plans gives you a flat $44.99 per wash & fold bag. See the full price list.

Which neighborhood is it like?

The routes differ by neighborhood, not the service. Sherman Oaks and Studio City sit along the east end of the Boulevard, Encino and Tarzana in the middle, and Woodland Hills and Calabasas are the west end. Each page below lists its own ZIPs and local notes: Woodland Hills, Encino, Tarzana, Sherman Oaks, Studio City, Calabasas.

Questions we hear

Do I need to be home? No. Leave the bag where you tell us in your delivery notes, such as the porch, front desk or gate code. Can I schedule the same window every week? Yes, you can set a recurring pickup in the app. What if something is wrong? Tell us after delivery and we re-clean it.
