Doing laundry in Tarzana
Tarzana takes its name from the ranch Edgar Rice Burroughs, Tarzan's author, owned here — and today it's family houses in the hills south of Ventura Boulevard, apartments and townhomes in the flats, and a stretch of the Boulevard lined with medical offices and restaurants.
Households here run on routines. A locked-in weekly window with the same driver is how a lot of families make laundry disappear: bag out the same morning each week, back folded the next day, hypoallergenic by default.
Tarzana takes its name from the ranch of Edgar Rice Burroughs, the author of Tarzan, and today it is a quiet part of the Valley along Ventura Boulevard and Reseda Boulevard, with family homes, apartment buildings and hillside streets above the boulevard.
Leave the bag at the door or gate and note which one in your pickup instructions. We text before arriving.
