Doing laundry in SoMa
South of Market is two kinds of home. Around Rincon Hill, the East Cut and the Transbay blocks near Salesforce Tower, it's high-rise living with a front desk and a package room. Around South Park, Yerba Buena and the blocks off Folsom and Howard, it's live/work lofts in converted warehouses and older walk-ups — great ceilings, and not always a washer.
Both work the same way with Fold. In a tower, hand the bag to the front desk or leave it at your door if your building allows it. In a loft or walk-up, leave it inside the gate or entry. Your driver texts 30 minutes ahead either way, and access notes — desk hours, call-box codes, which door to use — save with your address so you only explain your building once.
- Covers ZIPs 94103 and 94105 — Yerba Buena and Moscone through Rincon Hill and the Embarcadero side.
- Long office days? Evening windows fit after work, Monday to Saturday.
- Wash & fold in one bag, dry cleaning in another.
