Doing laundry in Mar Vista
Mar Vista stretches from the flats along Venice Boulevard up to the hill with its ocean views, and includes the Mar Vista Tract — a protected district of mid-century modern homes. Its Sunday farmers market on Grand View Boulevard is the neighborhood's weekly meeting point.
It's a family neighborhood, and family laundry piles up. Leave a bag at the door — clothes, sheets, towels — and wash & fold comes back the next day, washed hypoallergenic by default and folded.
Mar Vista is a residential pocket between Venice Boulevard and the Westside, known for its mid-century homes, its Sunday farmers market on Grand View Boulevard and the shops along Venice and Centinela. Most households here are families in houses and small apartment buildings.
Leave the bag on the porch or at the door and we text before arriving. If you have a regular weekly laundry load, a recurring pickup keeps it on autopilot.
