Doing laundry in the Sunset
The Sunset runs from the Inner Sunset's Irving Street shops out to Ocean Beach, block after block of 1930s and '40s row houses with the garage on the ground floor and the home upstairs. When there's a washer, it's usually down in that garage — and with fog most mornings, nothing dries on the line.
Families here generate real volume: school clothes, sheets, beach towels from Ocean Beach, a week of everything. Put it all in one bag in the garage entry or at your door, and it comes back the next day washed and folded, hypoallergenic by default.
- Covers ZIP 94122 — Irving, Judah and Noriega out to the beach.
- Garage entry? Add it to your address notes once.
- Fold Club locks in a weekly window with the same driver.
