Doing laundry around UCSF Parnassus
UCSF's Parnassus campus sits on the hill above Cole Valley and the Inner Sunset, with Sutro Forest behind it and Golden Gate Park a few blocks north. The neighborhood around it is full of residents, nurses, researchers and students — people who work long, irregular shifts and live in flats and apartments with little or no laundry.
Fold works around the shift. Put scrubs, gym clothes and everything else in one bag before you go in; it comes back the next day, washed and folded. Morning windows run seven days a week and evening windows Monday to Saturday, and your driver texts 30 minutes ahead.
