Doing laundry in Parkside
Parkside sits between the Sunset and Stern Grove — the eucalyptus-shaded amphitheater known for its free summer concerts — with Taraval Street and the L line as its main drag. Like the Sunset, it's row houses with the garage on the ground floor, and fog that keeps anything on a clothesline damp.
It's a family neighborhood, and family laundry adds up. Leave the bag in the garage entry or at your door; the evening window fits after the kids are in bed, and wash & fold comes back the next day, folded.
- Covers ZIP 94116 — Taraval Street, Stern Grove and Pine Lake.
- Garage entry? Add it to your address notes once.
- Next door: the Sunset and West Portal.
