Doing laundry in West Portal
West Portal is a neighborhood of detached family houses — St. Francis Wood's big lots, Forest Hill's winding streets, Monterey Heights — gathered around West Portal Avenue, where the Muni trains come out of the tunnel. Homes here usually have laundry. What they have more of is people: a full household's worth of clothes, bedding and towels every week.
Fold takes the whole household in one bag. Leave it at the door, pick a morning or evening window, and wash & fold is back the next day, folded. Dry cleaning goes in a separate bag and comes back the next evening.
